Here is the man with his new girl. There will be scales, blood, and slime washing out of the scuppers on that boat till the man sells it. I was again amazed at the understanding Nick has for the Groupers' behavior patterns! Which species is located where? What each particular species prefers to eat. Damn if he didn't call it every time. What those marks look like, when to use a live bait vs. cut bait, Nick is an incredible Captain as well as a fantastic grouper fisherman. I am quite certain we could have filled the boat with fish and then some. Such a pleasure to learn from him. There are many, many little tricks or details that any of which may seem frivolous but in the scheme add up to make the difference between catching some, or none to catching many, many very nice fish. No fish we kept with exception of a legal red that was j-hooked bad wasn't very large. The Grouper's are exceptional fishes and have quickly become my favorites to target.

Nick, Do the fish really stand a chance against such adversarys? Its that Greek Mojo I tell ya! Between you, nick, matt and lee, the fish down there don't stand a chance! Way to catch them up! Man I could go for some grouper in a lemon caper butter sauce right now!

Truly a memorable day. Beautiful weather, great friends, Biscoto at the helm calling every shot. He called the bites before they happened just about every time. I think he's got fish working for him down there. Somebody is on Biscoto's payroll. Geoff it was a pleasure to fish with you again. Hope to do it again soon. You put it on em yesterday. Say hello to the family. Biscoto thanks for taking me fishing. Enjoyed it very much as always. I think the breaking in period is definitely over. Game on. Thanks. Slip.
