Well 28 min. into the snow thingy and Houston we have a problem!!!!!!!!!! What started as a few flakes has completely cover the observation post / rear deck in white stuff Snow fall is on the increase and the following weather statement is being issued for the Lower Neuse River veiwing area, Move to the middle of the house, seek shelter in a central room with out windows and.... Opps wrong weather event

Screw it!, I'm going to pop a bag of popcorn and salt the rear steps, forget the shoveling duty. Hope fully everyone will survive, if there isn't at least 6-8in. on the ground in the morning, I'll load up the angry neighborhood kids and take them to NB and they can pelt Skippy for pumping the forecast up again

My brother lives in Ft Mead and he has been sucking wind for the past two weeks!! He is ready to move back south. He also said there is not enough salt to take care of their snow and Ice problems. Snow we are dying down here in NC!!!! .Mark

Live update from the Lower Neuse River area.

Sat up until 2am watching the snow pile up, 2 1/4 in. at bed time. This morning at 9:45 am the official amount for the Mayo yard 5 1/2 in per ruler I admit the the snow on everything is pretty, now be gone!!!

Our Lab has had a ball running around we are waiting on the neighbor hood deers to show like they always do when we get the white stuff.
