Fine report Keith, good catching and sticking and wonderful news on the Cape Fear snappers. I have been praying hard for year that they please make a come back. May be they are. They certainly have down the beach (Ga and Fla)

Not one but three ARS's. Awesome job BD and crew. Congratulations on a hell of a catch. I hope you all are on to something with these fine morsels.
Thanks for the trip Dwella! The mrs's fixed up some fine eats with that ARS the other day! Mr ARS was accompanied by some feril Hog, and Horse Conch! All retrived within 35 miles of my crib!
Worknot, how was that conch? Was it served "salad" style? Where do you live to get all them criiters withing 35 miles of the crib? Hyde County perhaps?
Well, now here are 3 quick stories then. Conch- found that in the waterway near topsail while retreaving a buddies trolling motor that was mouted wrong on his boat and fell off (10 miles). feril hogg- Oldest son shot it in a corn field in new hanover county (8miles). ARS- while waiting my turn to dive, soaking some live bait. ( about 35miles,thats what you said ,right?).
