By the way, Marty, I am Michael Branson, founder and President of Saltwater Soldiers Inc., and I hope you don't mind that I am posting this on your forum. We need sportfishing boats for Saltwater Soldiers Inc, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization, benefiting wounded soldiers, veterans, soldiers, and their families with free offshore fishing trips. We currently have one vessel that we operate out of Ocean City, MD during the Summer and currently operating out of Cape Charles, VA for rockfish trips. We provide the trips as a way of thanking our American Heroes for their dedication, sacrifices, and service to our country and as a means of both physical and spiritual rehabilitation. The fishing is also used as our marketing at we do not spend funding on actual marketing efforts nor do we pay any internal compensation to staff or BOD. In addition to the fishing, we also provide financial aid to wounded soldiers and veterans needed to make their homes handicap accessible, provide outside counseling, and generally improve their qualities of life. In short, we are 100% pass-through to benefit our Heroes.

We would like to start taking boats in on donation in order to expand our areas of service throughout the East Coast, around Florida, and along the coast of Texas. Any and all vessels will be considered and are all tax deductible to the donors as we are a true non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We have the abilities and expertise to facilitate the donation and will provide all necessary tax documentation to the donors.

In addition, we are also looking for boat owners willing to take soldiers, veterans, and their families on free offshore fishing trips through our organization. We are currently working on the necessary funding to allow entry into many of the major tournaments for 2010 and would like to find boat owners willing to participate until we can obtain the necessary vessels required to provide all fishing trip services internally.
