SG--can you do work at Portside Marina in MHC? In the past I was told you had to be "approved" by Portside to work there, which probably means that they contract the work through you for a fee. That's okay with me, but the last detail job I had done through them was a little less than satisfactory, and very expensive!

Please let me know...

I have not had anything there yet but will look into it. We do have insurance, but some places are working with a detailer in town and trying to keep us out by saying we must have longshoreman worker comp insurance even though it is only 1 or 2 of us working. It is not required by law but they can ask me to have it. There are 2 places I have run into like this and they are both pushing the same detailer and customers are getting poor service and high prices.

I will check it out and get back to you. Or you can always ask them if a friend can come and detail your boat. If you have a trailer we can always take it to the house in Beaufort and do it there. Please call me at 252-916-4488 if you find out anything or have any questions

thanks guys

If you go to Portside SG ask for my buddy Paul Bell, he is the marina/yard manager. Should not be a problem for him to let you in there to get some business.

Surf,

All that oxidation gone just like that. Well, I know the compounding was work for you, but for me it was as simple as a telephone call and working out the pricing details.

Inside and out she is looking terrific!

Thanks for saying what you could do and doing what you said.

if anyone else is interested, please give her a call and it will get on the schedule.
