    Talking Boat floor coating

Just like to know what you guys think is the best deck wax for keeping the black sole marks off the deck ? When i go fishing and invite other people they seem to always have black tennis shoes are black boots and its a ***** to clean the black marks off the deck. The charter boats with white glass decks are bound to have this figured out. Thanks for any input.

Not sure this a wax in existence that can handle a black sole mark, you can try woody wax as an experiment.

Most rubber soles are of a durometer that they litteraly melt off when scuffed

best bet is to check them at the dock

My captain had a simple solution to this when I was a mate,

He bought a half dozen sets of those yellow rubbers that fit over the shoes, or you could go buy a half dozen pair of the cheap white rubber boots in various sizes. When someone has to wear someone elses fishin shoes, they likely wont wear black soles again.

The duraliner is a great idea but doesn't it get extremely hot in the summer sun? I would think it would make the pit like an oven on a mid August day.

Woody Wax is the way to go. Its easy and quick to apply so you wont mind doing it. Doesnt make the deck slick either if you follow the instructions. For marks that refuse to come up you can always resort to ON/OFF.....that stuff will take just about everything off!!
