That boat house is that yours what is it made from Cyprus trees?

Great post the cats look like some nice eats, how about posting a good old swamp cat recipe, me I like it done over white ash low heat fire skin down let the oil of the fish drip to keep the fire just going, plain old salt and pepper to taste, and perhaps a splash of Tabasco. Same with gator tails, though I prefer that cold on a wild rocket salad thanks again for the post.

The boat house is actually a piece of history. It is a kiln from before the lake was made. Once the water was held to make lake that is where the water stopped. Here are links to some pics of the same area.http://www.thetandd.com/articles/200...s/12963173.txt and http://www.eutawvillesc.com/fergusonsc.htm . These pics were taken during the drought and draw down during the last few years.

The blue worms are about the size of a wiggler or a little better. Yeah vibrations I recon make the bait come to the top, kind of like grandpa and his night crawlers.

Usually we fry the fish with salt pepper and flour. Cut meat into small pieces or strips and cook till crispy. I want to learn some grilling or broiling. We do make a stew out of them sometimes. Tomatoes, potatoes, onions, catfish, and some bacon with a cayene pepper and some texas pete. serve over rice.

I used to soak our backyard with the hose just before dark, the nightcrawlers would come to the surface looking for more oxygen. Thats why you see them all over the sidewalk when you get a good rain. Idid a report in elementary school on earthworms, pretty interesting critter. Dis you know the have both male and female sexual organs?
I know who cares! They make great bait either way.
