Quick shout out to Capt Jay Kavanugh on the Bite Me

I have heard of Jay from the Box and sent my friends on vacation on the Banks from the great state of Ma; yes Yankees, to fish with Jay and he did not dissapoint.
After 5 hours of cooking on the Lacrosse field here in SoCal I had a message on the cell from my buddy and he was stoked.
He took his son, daughter and friends on a charter with " The Bite Me" wit Jay and left a fired up message on my cell...
Best Charter of all time!
They started the day in rain and crap but Jay pushed out deep and found the fish, Albie and Do-Dos to start and then a sweet sailfish that light up the day and pumped everyone up. They had never hooked one before so this group was stoked.
Mid day slow down kicked in and then Boom!
Late afternoon bite was on and they witnessed a Big Whitie tailing it off the horizon.
Capt. Jay did his thing and 1/2 later they were hooked up with line screaming. They all got a chance to pull on the fish as she sounded and pulled tight for over 1 hour with everyone on board gettting a chance to pull on her beauty. They finally got her boatside and let her go late in the day with hearts pumping; another fish that most on the charter had never seen or tangled with; they were gelling.

With the cost of Charters and fuel off the charts I want to thank Jay for going over and beyond to make a special day for some friends of mine as they pushed way outside and extended their day to make a most memorable day for some good people..thanks bud!

Plan on looking this guy up when I get a chance to fish out of Hatteras. Good job Capt Jay. Always a pleasure hearing good reports from your neck of Hyde/Dare.
