Here's some food for thought. It's cold and crappy out. Most of us have gear that has to be respooled. Rather than waiting till spring, bring one in the house and strip it has you are practicing different knots.

Might sound kind of silly but you could spend a month on any one of a dozen web pages just practicing tying the knots they offer.

Still think we should be out doing more fishing.

By the way, that's as bright as my house gets.

Lou that comment spawned from my first fly tying vid about a year ago.

I believe one viewers wife saw him watching the video of "my crotch" and questioned what the heck he was doing.

I like the uni finish. I always did a half hitch on one "leg" of the loop then finished with two of them around both "legs".

Gonna start tying some fly leaders soon with biminis and will try the different finishing step.
