Well folks, whats the tally- scuttlebutt at the OC Marlin Club last night was that entry numbers were shaping up decent for the tourney- what are the totals?

tim hake on finesse signed up at 2:00pm and he was boat #172 and their was a big line behind him

That sounds good- are those numbers up from last year? I figure good weather and decent fishing may outweigh fuel and and such

So far, 84 boats put up $17,000 to enter all levels.
I'd guess they will beat 184 easily and possibly 200...

Yup ... the numbers shaped up nicely! Looks like a pretty attractive purse. Almost $2 million all said and done!!!

We fished the Lady Angler end Saturday and broke off a real slob a little after 10:30. Then at 12:15-12:20 had a triple showing of WHITE DEATH come to play. Jumped one off and couldn't get the other two to come tight.

I NEED some practice with the circles.
