Big Rock Friday

We went Friday after YF and whaoo, Kay got 1 35lb. yellow fin, 1 blackfin, 1 skipjack, 1 mahi, and lost a nice mahi at the boat when he got the line in the prop, WHOOPS. Why is it she catches the biggest fish? tell me that!! I need practice on gaffing, (maybe we don't catch enough) some of the fish looked like they had been shot with buckshot. It was ruff going out, ruff while fishing with lots of grass to clog lines, not as ruff but not smooth coming back in. Felt like I had been a few rounds with George Forman when I got back to the dock. Guess that's what you get when you play with a little boat in the big pond.

Nice report and a better catch than most of the fleet.
It seems like the troll bite was very slow on this full moon.

sometimes you gotta use what ya got, I think the outfitt weighed more than the fish. We don't get to the blue water much and sure don't have a problem deciding which gear we will take. We were all having a lot touble just standing.
