***BFTs Out Of oregon Inlet 3/8/2010***

We had a great morning bite with the BlueFins out of Oregon Inlet today. First spread set at 7:30 on the 289 line 58 degree water. 15 minutes later it was on with a tipple banger!! release clips popping BlueFins airing,Reels screaming, Drags buttoned down, Chaos on the TinaLouise no time for the donuts......After 40 minutes Boated one at 167lbs. 30 minutes later released one around 175-180 and lost one on a the triple banger!! Back at the slip at 11:30 !!!
Josh got some great photos and I have a hour of video. Ought to be pretty exciting.....So stay tuned for more action....I'm whipped Short but sweet day..I think we all had a great time.Thanks to Josh and Chris for coming on such short notice!!......Mark

There weren't many boats where we were. I did see a Cat and a Regulator and those were the only other two Privates I saw at the 289. There were a lot of hookups. Sounded like the Hatteras fleet were on them pretty good as well they were south of us.

nice job mark. getting it done in the chilly water. i have the fever so bad i can't sleep. i have got to clean out the boat tomorrow!
