In MA you have to have both the Fed NMFS tuna permit ie HMS/CHB or GEN Category permit as well as the state comm. boat lic. to be able to sell the fish here in MA. You can always get the FED permit on-line and each state has their own regs. Capt. Eric

You have to have both the federal and local permit to sell fish.

I have had fish die on me. I had one die and sink to the bottom once. Thought it was a really stubborn fish, but apparantly sunk and we had to plane it up to the boat.
