BFT fishing with teasers???

Hey guys, whats happening.

I was wondering if you guys that fish for BFT use teasers or not? Last year I started pulling teasers when BFT fishing. I pull the same squid chains that I use for offshore fishing off the riggers and I also pull a Stripteaser dredge.

What do you guys think?

Do you guys pull teasers? If so, what do you pull?

thanks

Well, like I said I pull a squid chain on each rigger as a teaser. I also pull my dredge. I did the same thing last year for BFT fishing and we caught fish. I never had a BFT come up on any of the teasers though.

I just was wondering if I am wasting my time by having teasers out for these fish or if its actually helping. I am going out on Saturday and I am not going to pull teasers.

Personally, my opinion is this....if you are around the fish and drag your worms in front of them they are going to eat em. All these fish do is swim and eat so I don't think they are that picky.

I guess I pull teasers because I pull teasers for every other type of fishing offshore. I thought it might give me an advantage over the guy next to me who just has 3 or 4 baits out. I thought if they heard some commotion on the water they would come check it out and see my worms swimming.

I don't know if its right or wrong thats why I was just trying to see what other people do.

Thanks
