ive got some of my stepdads pictures of gators from lake ellis, which is in the Croatan, from back in his wildlife biologist days. trust me, you dont want to go gigging in the Croatan !

seriously, i grew up gigging frogs in a big gator infested area. they wont bother you. the little ones are far more curious than the big ones, which are usually shy. ive tangled with a few in my day.
