    Best wax for Boat

Well its almost time to start cleaning and waxing the boat. I have tried several types of cleaners and wax. My boat is less than a year old and would like some feedback on the best cleaners and wax out there today. Something that will last the longest in saltwater and protect just the same. Any thoughts or experience? Thanks!!!

Try colonite's. They have both a wax and a cleaner wax.

A while back there was a publication that did product evaluations in the boating industry. (the name escapes me)

The best wax on the market was the Collonite Paste Wax. It's the hardest to apply and take off, but showed the best long term results.

I've used it for years and was always happy with the results.

Thanks!!! I have heard a lot about Collinite and that is probably the product I'm leaning towards putting on, but I had also heard about Meguiars new marine product and did not know if it was any better. Best Wishes to all!!!

Used Collonite for a finish wax for the last several years but recently switched to PERFECT POLISH BY ADVANCED DETAILING VIRGINIA BEACH,VA-800-951-5450

This stuff rocks easy on and easy off appears to bead bigger drops and stays on longer

For compound I Like 3M Finesse

Have to agree with the Collinites suggestion but there's a local company called Aquatech and the owner is alway available to answer any questions and he'll send stuff anywhere. I've been in the boat/yacht refinishing business for a long time and have tried just about every product on the market. While 3m makes some good stuff as well it seems like they have discontinued some of the stuff that used to be the cats ass on gelcoat. Aquatech has two really incredible products one of which is a water spot remover the other a an ultra gloss polish that is great for aluminum. PM me and I'll give you the owners info. Tell him I sent you and he'll give you a great price.
