The best gift i ever had

I have to tell you....this christmas was a tough one for me, the divorce process is well for anyone thats gone through it is hell. The Bammer and i spend every weekend together....My step daughter whom ive raised since she was a month old is another story....its hard enough to be a 13 year old girl....add on all the other crapola that she has been exposed to...well we have not seen much of each other....not for lack of effort on my part but it is what it is.....Well my patients payed off and we got to spend a wonderful christmas togehter and were not done yet.....We made quite a few steps in the right direction this weekend so far and Its a dam good feeling to have my oldest daughter back in my life.....Things are looking up.

Hang in there, I've never been (or ever want to) through a divorce myself so I don't know what you've got on your plate. But what I do know is those kid's (whether biological or step children) need a "Daddy". There are father's every where, but "dad's" seem to be in short supply these day's. Thanks fellas....dont let that pretty little girl in the dress fool you...shes a stone cold killer.....her favorite gift this year from daddy was the camo boots she got....heres a few pics from this summer i never got around to uploading....plus one me and the girls on halloween....theyre good kids and ill always be there for them.

First off congrats that your spending good time together. The divorce part sucks bro, Im going through the same exact thing right now, finalizing my divorce changing companies as well. I have a 14 year old son Anthony whom everyone knows here from fishing plus a 5 year old son Nico as well. Its always tough but in the end if you are open with your feelings towards her she will appreciate it right now.

So do i Lee.....she may rape me like a piece of fresh fish in a prison but no one can ever take away the father i am, was and will always be......my children love me, and need me....and some day soon will be with me full time....i raised them, and love them.....as hard as it is to sleep some nights...when i finally do get to sleep i do so knowing they know their daddy loves them and will always be a pillar of stability and unconditional love.........lets just consider this free spool with the clicker on.....im just feeding line until i lock it up and take out the slack and drive the hook home.....it is coming.

My stepDad was a huge influence on me.....probably the reason I'm here typing. Divorce is a BAD deal for all involved.....kids suffer the most.
Be there when they need you and try not to play into the negative BS that no doubt comes with it....
and remember.....Laughter is the best medicine.
