Bermuda Report, Jan 26th.

2009's off to a good start in Bermuda. Another good stretch of fishing this past week w/ school sized YFT's, quality Wahoo and a mix of Blackfins., Sharks and Almaco Jacks.
A nice day today for us w/ over 400 weight of Wahoo and YFT, a 28lb Almaco Jack on the jigging rod for Mike and a 77 lb 'hoo on the bait casting rod for Jim.
Saturday's trip turned into a short morning mission, w/ 10 yr old Andy Crumley's first tuna trip.. Nothing too big, but a good pull on the light tackle for a wounded Crumley pair...

Nice work James. Hard to believe there is that much difference in Temperature and you are 700 mi east of us

let's see hear... Fish in bremuda with 60-70 degree temp and catch yft and wahoo by the boat load with flat calm seas or ... Fish hear off mhc for bft and freeze your but off and getting 50 degree water sprayed in your face, only to hook up once and pull the hook about once every 1-2 weeks. Options, options wonder what I should choose.

A much needed injection of optimism captain Wound up! This NC winter is getting ridiculous!
Good looking yellowfins. We saw very few in '08, may be '09 will be better. The big wahoo on the bait rod is very sweet!
