Bass on the Troll (w/ pics)

Teacher's convention in AC Thursday and Friday and mother nature cooperated (for the most part).

    Thursday

Was out with some buddies from work out front to wash some plastics, with the nice forecast in the AM we got an early start. It paid off, the morning bite produced 7-7 with 4 keeper bass and the biggest being 31," most of which being caught on the dredges. It slowed down in the afternoon so we decided to wrap up and head to the barn.

    Saturday

With Saturday's forecast I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get back on the troll. Again, we wanted to get an early start to try and take advantage of the early bite and again it paid off. This was the best day of trolling this season!! Loads of bait and the Bass were active, they hit dredges; Shads and eels alike, along with Mann stretch lures and the mystery bait that produced a 46'', proving the theory that big bass can be caught on the troll!

    Sunday

Due to NOAA's weather report we decided to get a later start. The day produced a few fish in the morning. After some moving around we found some nice fish and capitalized! The dredges and Mann Stretches were the go to baits

Nice report, nothing like throwing a couple striper filets on the grill for dinner......

Yeah my buddy convinced me to keep some of that nice red meat for an eagles tailgate. I gave him my board recipe.

Light the grill, throw the fillets on a board then on the grill cook untill meat is finished while throwing your favorite seasoning on. When your finished take the fillets throw them in the trash and then eat the board!
