DAY ONE WAS ABSOLUTELY ....MENTALLY DEVASTATING FOR THE BEAST AND I....ONLY TWO MAHIS HIT DA BOX....NOW I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS EVENT IS FOR THE BOYS AND GIRLS BUT I STILL WANT TO WIN!.......AND EVERYONE WINS IN THIS EVENT...BUT PALEEESE....JUST TWO MAHIS? I WAS VERY HAPPY FOR JACKSON HOLWACHAGOT AND I WAS VERY HAPPY FOR LIL JOHN SON OF O-SEA-D.....FOR THEY HAD THEIR MAHIS ON ICE...AND TROPHIES WERE SOON TO COME.


BUT MY MAN 9YR OLD WILL VANSCIVER....HE WAS YET TO GO TO THE CHAIR WITH SOME CRANKING....I WANT TO POINT OUT THAT WILL NEVER COMPLAINED...NEVER QUIVERED AND NEVER GAVE UP HIS DESIRE TO CRANK IN A FISH....HE SHOWED TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP WHILE WATCHING HIS COUNTERPARTS CATCH FISH BEFORE HE DID.

YEP, DAY ONE WAS A ZERO-NO FISH DAY FOR WILL....BUT TOMORROW, THE BEAST WILL RE-GROUP AND BE GAME ON!

DAY TWO

SATURDAY MORNING GREETED THE RUN-OFF CREW WITH SOME STIFF BLOW AND NASTY SLOP.....BUT THE BLACK BOAT CAN TAKE IT....AND I WAS CURIOUS AS TO THE OFFSHORE STAMINA OF 6 YR OLD JACKSON.....BOY WAS I SURPRISED!!! HE WAS FEARLESS I TELL YA! STONEWALL JACKSON HE IS! SO BRING IT ON! 6 FT SEAS AIN'T SQUAT TO JACKSON!

THANKFULLY, WE MADE QUICK WORK OF MAHI NUMBER ONE FOR MY MAN WILL....NOW ALL THREE JR ANGLERS HAS MAHINDABOX....NOW AS THE DAY BANGED ON...CAPT. BRIAN'S DINK ROD FINALLY ZINGED OUT....HOLEY SAMOLEY!! WAHOO ON THE CIRCLE!!!! ....23 LBS TO BE EXACT & ENOUGH FOR WILL TO TAKE FIRST PLACE WAHOO!....A BIT LATER WILL CONNECTS UP WITH HIS SECOND MAHI OF THE DAY...

I WILL NOW LET THE FLICK DO THE REST OF THE TALKING....BUT OBSERVE CLOSELY AS WE TAKE A SHOT OF OCEAN OVER THE STERN AND WATCH WHAT JACKSON DOES!!!!....6 YRS YOUNG....ONE COOL JR ANGLER IN MY BOOK! GEOFF YOU ARE ONE LUCKY DADDY!
