I've never used any of BB products, so I really can't comment on ther effectiveness...guess it's all in the marketing of the product, something about the "eyes" on a BB lure

I can say that after 5 years fishing Kona and fishing on almost every charter boat there, I will say that his stuff is virtually nowhere on the Kona boats. I got to fish 2 days with Bart and his son with Norm Isaacs and ESPN on Bart's old boat which is now the Huntress(42 Merritt) and we did use his lures those days. Result-day one release 150 on an rpp, day two- released a 650 on a brazilian something or other. But his stuff is really non-existent where he used to fish full time. I will say this the poor guy is not a millionaire and looks to be on his last legs, but hey, he does have a record that I fish everyday in hopes of beating!!!!!! He caught the 2nd biggest one EVER!!!! Good Luck

As someone who considers Bart a personal friend I am a bit appalled that you would dedicate a thread to bashing him. He is a true gentleman and one of the few "legends" who I feel deserve the title.
