We went out saturday night on a black drummin on the UNREEL out of CapeMay.
The 6 of us had never targeted black drum before so we were all eager to put get the skunk off the boat. It didnt take long,with a little instruction on the bite from the capt i put the first of many over the rail
It was non stop action after that with everyone on board getting in on the action. Even a few doubles
we thumped them good keeping 11 and releasing 7 for an 18 fish total.not too shabby for a bunch of drummin rookies
It was a great day out on the water, hell the company was worth the price of admission, its been 15 years since the 6 of us all got on the same boat. it just dont get any better.
one fish shy of the 18 fish limit Hilly finally gets it done , lines out was at 9:15 pm and at 9:12 he gets it done.
We came, we fished, we drank our share of cold ones and we caught the hell out of them....After boating 5 of them i was pretty beat up come sunday morning.
