Bahamas Fishing Report
Sunday the offshore forecast called for winds to be 15-20 out of the east quadrant. Magic Seaweed called for North winds @ 5mph. We checked the Glass Window Bridge around 6:30 AM and it looked like a mix of the two forecasts. We decided to try an offshore troll out past Egg Island. When we left Gregorytown dock it was flat calm

It was like that all the way to Current Cut and then it was slightly choppy across the sound to deep water. We set up our troll on the wall straight out from the wreck near Little Egg Island. We headed North and had a couple Barracuda in the box by 10:00 AM. Found a nice weed line and hooked up a Mahi, right next to the boat she jumped and spit the hook. She was hooked on a naked hoo and she was so close I saw her spit the hook. On the next pass we hooked another after a couple jumps we got her to the boat. Harry stuck her and flipped her in the box.

We trolled both sides of the line and the cudas ate everything we had out. We started with four lines in and by time I'd had one line out a cuda would eat it before I had a chance to set another line. We moved off and didn't get another hit so we set up for some deep drop bottom fishing. The current was too strong to keep us in one spot. We picked up 1 small Strawberry Grouper in 200ft of water. We rolled up the lines and headed back to Gregorytown.
