Anthony-
Teach's Lair in Hatteras sells our lures on a limited basis-primarily our king mackerel products during the fall king run. They have stocked small quantities of our offshore products and I expect to see them stocking up on these new heads in the near future. You will definitely want to call first.

Oregon Inlet Fishing Center stocks and sells our lure heads as well as our offshore lures. We sent Bill a good supply of product last month but I haven't seen a re-order yet so I would imagine his inventory of mackerel striped heads and lures is very low. Once again you will want to call ahead before you go. Ask for Bill because he knows our products.

ONE IS NOT A LURE WHORE IF HE GOES THROUGHOUT THE FORUMS AND SAYS HELLO EVERY NOW AND THEN TO THE MEMBERS....OR CONGRATUALTES A MAN FOR HIS CATCH.......OR A THANK YOU FOR POSTING PICTURES....OR GO TO A SMALL FORUM AND MAKE AN APPEARANCE
REMAINING SILENT BY ANY MEMBER HERE IS NOT HELPING THE FUTURE SUCCESS OF SFC ONE BIT.......
SILENCE OF THE LAMBS?...I MEAN LURES??....HEY...IT'S YOUR CALL
DANG GLAD I DIDN'T REMAIN SILENT BACK WHEN THERE WERE 3 PEOPLE ON LINE IN JAN 2005 AND 80 MEMBERS TOTAL AND 20 OF THEM MY FAMILY![]()
ROCK ON..............
Thanks Marty. It's just an old school respect thing. Compared to everyone else here, I am definitely a newbie by every definition of the word. I didn't want to come into your house per se and ride on the coattails of your's and everyone else's hard work developing this site and these forums.
I like posting wherever and whenever I have something of value to contribute. I enjoy weighing in on threads that are off topic, political as it pertains to fishing, and also giving praise to folks for a job well done. I just look at self promoting posts as separate from that rather than part of a package.
Take for instance Bill Pino with SquidNation. He is a class act. His products speak for themselves. He answers questions regarding his products as well as their proper use when they are posed but he doesn't blatantly toot his own horn or derail threads to draw attention to himself. That's pretty much the way I like to be as well. If I have something new and different that you and the other members need to be aware of, you best believe I will let you and everyone else know. As a matter of fact, I would more than likely get it into your hands along with other fishermen on this site who can do some destructive testing to determine the effectiveness and marketability of a product first. Giving back needs to come first in my book.
What better group of people to have as my destructive test engineers?!![]()
Just checking in to see how the lures are holding up and how effective they have been. I was just looking through some old threads and found this one again. Does this mean I have become the tackle ho that i so strongly professed not to be back in 2007?![]()
Hey Bailey, I love the heads, been pulling them for the last 43 yrs for the hoos and giants. Great on the bridge pole or long riggers in a chop. Do you have any more of that crystal hair that I got from you back a while, that stuff is the heat. I only wish you had it in different colors. Most hair only last a few trips this stuff lasts forever almost. I sure cold use another skien of it if you got it.
Always keep it in stock. Can't hardly catch fish without that stuff.
I sold some ultra-flash mylar to a fellow board member and he sent me a picture of one our Mack Attacks dressed up with the ultra flash and it was awesome looking! The ultra flash mylar is like a funhouse mirror cut into ribbons. It is extremely reflective- much more reflective than standard mylar.
I'll swear by those lures too. I had a guy fishing with me last October who stuck one in the spread (we called it "The Pink Tiger"). I think every fish we caught that day came from that one lure. I've got to get me some of those!
