[SIZE="4"]Managed to beat my existing wahoo record this past week. Picked up a 63 lb hoss on 05/25. The mahi bite was on and the season is cranking up big time. Picked up the hoo along the 640 in about 120 fathoms. That along with four nice mahi, was all I needed that day, especially when fishing alone. Took my wife out on 05/31 and the stream never looked better. We managed five nice mahi a little further south along the 540 in 50 fathoms. Headed to Ocracoke in two weeks and things should be rockin big time. Time to rock and roll.[/SIZE]

I have literally burned out two digital cameras over the years and taken close to 2500 pics. Unfortunately, no digital camera this time. He was a hoss and the mahi’s were rather beefy as well. I got a new Sony 3Mega pixel on order, and this one will be my third. Yup, she is a KenCraft 235 Challenger. Next to my wife she is the most important gal in the world to me. The ONLY way I am able to fish alone that far offshore is the awesome free board on the boat, and the system I have when thing go “zing”. Clearing out riggers, keeping the boat right, and positioning the gaff by you is an orchestra of maneuvering. I got it down to a science.
