Attention to all that are fishing the Father/Kid Offshore Kick-Off

The time is getting near. I am really excited about the tournament next weekend. I understand some of you guys are getting together and getting a group rate down their at a hotel. If anyone has those details could they please post them. I need to get a room for the Triangler Team 12. Plus I think their may be a team or two that is looking for that information.

If anyone has not sent the remainder of the tourney entry fee please do so. I would like to have all the book keeping out of the way so we can just worry about having a good time down their.

The Tournament Entry Fee covers - The charter fee for the boats, Bait tackle, license and all that good stuff. It also covers the dinner on Saturday Night and the awards. The great stuff that was donated by the good people on this board will be either placed in your tournament bag or be given out as door prizes at the Dinner on Saturday Night.

The Dinner will be held at Marty's House or the club house in Marty's Neighborhood. We will provide Directions and phone number in the tournament Bag.

Their will be no formal gathering on Friday Evening because I do not know what time be people will be arriving.

I will Post what boat everyone will be fishing on day 1 early next week. Your Tournament Bag will be available on Friday. If I don't see you guys on Friday then they will be on your boat on saturday morning.

Things that are not included in the tournament entry fee are - Lodging, Food and drinks for the days fishing, Fishing Cleaning and tips for the mates.

The Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday after fishing at the club house in marty's neighborhood. If you are leaving town after fishing it will be on the way out of town for most of us. Please be prepared to head straight to the clubhouse. I understand that most folks will be leaving town right after the awards so this will be a quick ceremony. If the location of the awards Ceremony changes I will make sure to let everyone know ahead of time.

All fish will be weighed at your Marina by a weighmaster. BTW - if their are any locals that are not fishing the tournament and that would like to volunteer to be the weighmaster please send me a PM. Marty has allowed us to use his portable scale.

At this time their is still a spot open for one more team. So if anyone has a person or team in mind please have them PM me or call me ASAP.

Their will be a special prize for the kid that finds the yellow banana that will be hidden on one of the boats. Here is your first clue. It will not be on the boat that I am fising on

I have received a few questions concerning rules. Here they are.

1. All billfish caught will be released. Please do not lift the billfish into the boat.

2. This is a big fish tournament. We will have awards for first thru 5th tuna. First thru 4th wahoo. First thru 3rd dolphin. Each kid can only win one award.

3. We will have disposable cameras for each kid. Their will be a special award for the best picture taken. Feel fee to use artistic liberties and be creative.
