Asking for a little help ......

I moved from Utah last November and until recently I had not made any new friends. I've met a single mom with 3 boys who works really had to support her family and is a great person.

She rents a home here in MHC but does not have any living room furniture, just a blow up mattress for guests to sit on.

I am writing this post to see if anyone in NC has or knows anyone who has any living room furniture that they do not need, are not using, etc. I am more than willing to travel and pick it up.

OKAY GANG.....

JUST TO CLARIFY THIS LEGITIMATE REQUEST BY SHURDZ.....SHURDZ IS MY NEICE AND HAS A BIG HEART.....AND SHE HAS FOUND LESS THAN DESIRABLE CONDITIONS FOR THIS YOUNG FAMILY...

THEY HAVE BLOW-UP LIVING ROOM FURNITURE AND THATS IT....AND THIS IS NO FAULT TO THE MOM IN MENTION HERE.....SHE WORKS HARD WITH NO FINANCIAL HELP FROM THE SORRY-ASS WALK AWAY FATHER


WE JUST THOUGHT THAT MAYBE SOME AREA CAROLINA MEMBERS MIGHT HAVE SOME FURNITURE /ACCESSORIES TO HELP GET A YOUNG MOM WITH 3 KIDS ON HER FEET....10,7,4 YR OLDS....

HOW BOUT SOME USED TOYS OR SIMILARS....

I WILL HELP MY NEICE PICK THESE ITEMS UP IF NECESSARY

I could probably throw some toys in your truck when you are in town next week....

Just checked the attic - we got 2 twin size oak bedframes (no mattresses), kid size table and chairs, and 2 oak dining chairs.

shurdz and box, i will check the storage unit this weekend, i know there is atleast a hole bedroom suit in there. you are more than welcome to have it. im sure we have other stuff too. maybe you better bring a uhaul up.

I have a bicycle at the house that Kelsey has out grown, that would be perfect for the kids. I will put it in the truck tonight and bring it to the water front with me tomorrow. It will be in the parking lot across from the Big Rock scales. I will put the chain on it and the key will be under the gas flap.
