Ash versus Mono

Marty's been warning us for years, and it finally happened

This was no ordinary bustoff. The unnamed numbnut actually pushed his cigar ash into the SPOOL

We broke off 2 rigs before we figured out what happened, and two more trying to fix it.

The spool of new line is a total loss

he do it on purpose? I've worked with mates in the past that if you acted like a dick they would go around and touch your line on your spare rods or at night on an overnighter with a cigarette

I guess it was a case of a nice, long ceegar, lift rod to pump fish and look down at reel and...sizzle!
