Artwork for Saurkraut and Beer

This painting I just finished for a customer that lives believe it or not in Munich Germany. He fishes in the Cape Verde Islands and loves Giant Trevally. I tried to swap the painting for some good saurkraut and a case of Worsteiner (don't know how to spell it, but it's good German beer. ) He said he hates Saurkraut! I couldn't believe it a German that didn't like saurkraut( I'm sure alot of you don't like it either). Anyway this is as far as my art has traveled thus far and I thought it was kinda cool to have something hanging there. Oh ya, he said he loves SFC.

wow! What a nice work! Well done!

First, I have to explain why I don´t like "Sauerkraut". You are absolutely right, in the most areas in Germany, Sauerkraut is very famous. But not so in Bavaria. A Bavarian wouldn´t say he is a German, he says he is a "Bavarian" So, we like other food too. Do you know our "Weißwurst mit Brezn"? It´s a white sausage with our typically "Brezn", a kind of bread with salt on it.

Then...about the beer. Many of you guys know, that we have a very good beer here in Bavaria. We are very proud to our "Reinheitsgebot", a very old law that only allows some very special and clear ingredients for the beer. So, we prefer our good "Augustiner" and I like the "Erdinger Weißbier" most.
When one of you guys visit Germany, contact me. We have to drink a very good beer together.

The sportfishermen.com is very famous in our country. Of course one of the biggest forums worldwide is not a secret for all saltwater fishermen worldwide.
