There's a product called Curleez for leader wrapping that is the balls. 30 different colored leader keeper per pack at a whopping $4.95. No rubber band rot; no wire tie rust; nice simple plastic wraps, reusable over and over.

Hey Box I noticed the shirt you are wearing, I have a feeling I broughht on this video. I remember one instance on the trip I tried to wrap a leader, I wish I had a picture of your face when you watched me. Lesson learned though, I no longer have crinkled leaders.

Anyway, if you know somebody with a 1-6 year old, ask them to save you some. Trust me, they will know what you are talking about

Do I ever! I find them months after every birthday or Christmas. Those and the damn lag bolts they put in the box to hold the car or truck to the box W.T.F.??? is the point of that other than frustrating dads

For wrapping leaders, I use doorbell wire that I get at ACE hardware. Its thin plastic coated copper, dirt cheap, a roll lasts forever, and you can cut it to whatever size you want and will never rust.

My job on x-mas and birthdays is to un-bolt the toys...usually requires a screwdriver, blowtorch and a cocktail (to ease my nerves ) but yes, I also do not understand why these things are secured the way they are!

The good news is that these coated tie wraps are great for this...my feeble attempt to add some content I guess
