TELL ME ABOUT BERMUDA....ANYONE?
I FEEL A ROAD TRIP COMING ON IN SEPTEMBER
Been twice, early november, stayed at "The Reefs" a beautiful place with exceptional service. Island was very clean and people are very nice and welcoming. Did not fish at all, but know the fishing can be excellent. Weather in november was perfect, mid to upper 70's, and great vis in the water for diving.
Im suppose to be there in June and early July. Im keeping my fingers crossed. That will be an epic adventure. It is only Feb and my skipper has me already preparing for this trip. We arent even sure we are going, 99% but not a 100%. I said 80 wide he said hell no four 130s, maybe 80 pitch. I not asamed to admit it but that gave me wood.
Before I die I hope I get to go there for the spring HOO bite, those picks someone had on here with the 30-40 pig hoos stacked like firewood just messes me upMan 50-80lb. HOOS all day chewing, count me in!!!!!!
Foul Hook'd
Fishing kind of slow and people are rude and unfriendly. Long runs to the edge and small fish. I wouldn't bother....
Box... PM me and I will give you further tales of woe.![]()
Box- You will love it, hook up with James on the Wound Up if you can. Tuna/Marlin/Wahoo...trolling within a couple miles of the harbor, great fishery, nice town to walk around in, plenty of restaurants and some even have booze, ....imagine that ! Heading to Panama tomorrow morning, enough of this cold stuff...will post report when we get back.
you'll love it. People are really nice, fishing right off the reef no long runs. The roads can be kinda scary if you are driving watch out for those crazies on mopeds. The whole island was very very clean. Sweet sea glass beach you can go to and find all kinds of cool sea glass if you are into that stuff.
Best prime rib I have ever had I think the place was called the watermark (not to be confused with AB watermark) i will try and remember if i can. Even my wife said that place had the best prime rib.
