I'm in Wilmington and really need some hands on training. Any info on one of your classes would be helpful or if you know anyone in my area I would really appreicate it
cb .... Come to A.B. and we will go out and put out some livies this summer. I have found that riggin a live pogey usually does the trick if youre in the right spot. Keeping it simple has given me the best results.

In fact, I might be doing some fishing out of Wilmington / W.B. this spring with some of the most seasoned King Fisherman I know. Id be happy to bring you along if you are interested.

BUT .... realize that if you fish with me you wouldnt learn a thing. You must go to one of BOX's schools for that so my invite is only for pure entertainment and should no means be considered any type of education. I know nothing and should be treated accordingly!

Wish I could claim that is me on the video. Shep and Ian Murray are two friends of mine that own Vineyard Vines. They sold me the Contender that is in the video. Sorry if that is misleading. Its just not every day you get to see your boat on the today show

NOW .... Its the ballyhoo rigs that will get your head spinning! Any dates yet BOX?
SOUNDS LIKE NAUTI HAS THE SCHOOL THING COVERED HERE FOR YOU.....

IT ALSO SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS NOTHING TO KING FISHING.....THAT IT IS VERY EASY.

I am not trying to be a know it all here, BOX. Hence the fact that I started this thread looking for a school. All I was saying is that I found it easier to pick up Kingfishing and had good results with some pretty basic stuff. I am certainly open to any tips that will better my chances with a Kingfish or anything else for that matter.

Forgive me for wanting to help out a fellow board member. I certainly wasnt trying to compete with your school.

Damn man.... someone piss in your wheaties this morning or what?

    Box,
I still am interested in your class. Besides learning king rigs, I also want to learn the proper way to rig ballyhoo, naked and with skirts. I am new to the offshore game so anything I can learn will be an improvement. So any info you can give me on one of your classes would be great.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ryan Powell
