Another storm a few more Videos!!
Well everyone with Danny rolling offshore I decided to sit down and catch up on a little video editing. This is footage from a trip earlier in the year during a Tuna trip out of OI. This particular fish about 60-65 lbs didnt want anything to do with the boat. I have fought many Tuna and some big ones on the left coast but this guy was all heart. Hope you enjoy the footage from our small boat it was a blast of a day!! I have enough footage from this day for a few more in the future.

Anthony's Ark is a blowboater
Mark, good video. That kept me on the edge of my seat for sure.
I thought either the rod was going over or the fish was head for a prop. Your a patient fella...

That was defiantly a fun day. It was nice to bring a first timer out and get hooked up to a nice YFT. After that fish he calmed down and the rest of the day was a breeze. I am pretty sure Jonathan had a great time fighting the fish he did that day. I will post some more footage from that day when I get a chance. I think we had 15 YFT bites that day and bill fish come through the spread.
I try to leave as many rods in the water I can. I run a lot of rods tuna fishing and on a small boat it can get a little crazy but that is what makes it fun and very interesting. The fish on this video wanted nothing to do with the boat period.....Mark

Hey Mark that did turn out nice and it sure was a fun day on the water...I can't thank you enough for taking me...it was definately the trip of a lifetime and one that I will not soon forget...oh and I have been working out getting ready for next year...but you can bet your bottom dollar my harness will be in the car...
Guys I wasn't kidding when I posted the report...my arm literally gave out and there was nothing left in the tank...Mark doesn't show the part where I'm trying to put the harness on him after I hand him the rod and my left arm won't work so I'm trying to "swing" it around just to get him clipped...that was one tough tuna right there...I do get to redeem myself on the next couple I catch...they come right to the steel...like they are supposed too!!!
looking forward to some of that wintertime wahoo action...did you get any video of the one that blew up right behind the boat on the daisy chain?
Mark and Jeff thanks again guys...

Great video Mark. There for a minute I thought the first guy was going to lose the rod overboard.

tiggere,
It was nice having you on the boat. I was wondering when you were going to show on this thread. I have a few more videos from the footage that day and yes you did great after that first fish...That first one is always the toughest, especially that one. He wore me out editing the video!! I did edit out a few choice words!!! Its always fun fishing for Tuna on a small boat>>>
