    Each and every Christmas eve, our local paper runs an editorial about stuffing flounder with oysters for Christmas supper, a tradition which started during the depression. People couldn't afford turkeys and ham so they had to gig a fresh flounder and pick some oysters to stuff it with. Collard greens on the side. There has always been a Christmas God!
