I for one would be willing to pay extra to fly myself and my family on an airline that takes security seriously....wouldn't you? If a U.S. airline modeled itself after EL AL with bodyscanners, armed guards on board EVERY flight, explosive sniffing dogs, etc, etc, would you fly with them or on airlines that do ONLY what the government mandates they do? I'd pay extra to fly the airline that takes security to the next level knowing that panty bombers are more than likely gonna' fly somewhere else and that me and my family have more of a chance of flying safe.

And at least half the problem is they've hired Arabs and Muslims to do the security and baggage loading for $6 an hour...I'll pick the airlines with the German Shephards any day.......

I agree with everyone above....they take it easy on the bad guys and don't want to "offend" anyone but make it harder for people trying to keep us safe!

Why is it the PC bunch don't want to offend this group or that one but have no problem offending those of us who pay the taxes, obey the laws, take care of our families and neighbors, all and all do the right thing. Just to let those others that fly alot in on a bit of info. Wear heavy belt buckles. They can do major damage to the old brain bucket when swung at high rates of speed. I never fly without mine on and I do not belive in going quietly.

I agree with that but I think the average blonde hair blue eyed stewardess can kick the shit out of these Arab/Muslim worms with ther bare hands (or high heel), never mind the ones with a little self defense training. We flew home out of Charlotte and one of them got a little unruly because he was shut off drinkwise. A big black stewardess picked him up out of his seat with one hand and had a talk with him face to face, never heard a squeak out of him after that......I love that woman....
