    AJ's?

Alright guys .... weather permitting, I think I am going to try and get out next weekend in search of one species only .... the ubiqutous Amberjack.... wanting to try out a new smoker. (Unless it is slick calm... then we will throw in some hoo fishin)

Where are you sending me? I havent been out in a while and am not sure how far I am going to have to go. Are they biting jigs or do I need some livies this time of year?

    Thanks in advance!

This time of year I like AR 305 out of MHC. It is close to some good live bottom so you can try for some other good bottom fishing as well.

I'm sure they are still at the closer AR's as well. When I try for AJ's it's all jigs for me and normally never have any problems getting bites.

Big 10 is loaded with them Chris. All west side wrecks and ledges beyond 60 feet have big numbers on 'em as of this past Friday. Mostly 30 - 40 lb fish.

Do not leave any baits dangling in the water. They are hungry!

Awesome .... thanks Biscoto. I was hoping not to have to jump the shoals. Sounds like it should be fun
