    AJ SMACKDOWN

    Just a quick report SeaDraggin will have the full deal over in the jigging forum.
    Crew, was me, SeaDraggin, SeaDraggin SR and Chris, whose dad is fighting for our freedom in Iraq. Get home SAFE Dave.
    Chris has a true talent for the fishing game ON his very FIRST drop of a jig in his life he hooked and landed a 40lb aj ..at only 12 years old he is a natural fishermen and will be joining me out on my boat as my new mate from now own......

    As for the fishing we were lucky....Had a three rod spread of some home made high speed rigs myself and Jim had made up and just after making the 90 we put them out and made our way to the reef b/c our plan all along was AJ's on the Jig

    No more than had time to grab some hot coffee from my thermos and BAM! Right Flat gets nailed got Chris on the rod me on Gaff and Jim on wire and we nailed a nice 40lber right off the bat.....got some photos got cleaned up and re set made a couple laps in that area and pushed on to the reef. After that we jig aj all afternoon it was so much fun seeing my young neighbor have the time of his life on 40-50lb AJs major pain train when we got tied of jigging we'd high speed to rest our arms... no more bites for us and we headed for the hill around 230 in flat seas.....

    it's early but thats 2 fishable days for us on the little rig in the last 10 days.....it's getting better. We never saw any real blue water all blended green that was the short version of our day....lots of laughs and a great time was had....
