FOR TWO DECADES....I HAVE USED THE AFTCO ROLLER TROLLER....OB-1

WITHOUT A DOUBT....IT IS .....OR WASZZ......THE FINEST ROLLER TROLLER RELEASE ON THE MARKET !!!

NOW IT SEEMS THEY DECIDED TO RE-DESIGN THE WORLDS FINEST RELEASE CLIP ...CALLING IT THE OB-2...........BUT.....BUT THEY LEFT OUT SEVERAL IMPORTANT ITEMS.....THE TOOLS TO OPEN IT WITH......CROWBAR...ADJUSTABLE WRENCH...JAWZ OF LIFE....ETC ETC

WELL OB-O-MY !! PARDON ME SIRS...BUT I DISLIKE THE NEW DESIGN YOU INFLICTED ON THE OFFSHORE COMMUNITY.....I HAVE BOUGHT LITERALLY THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF AFTCO FINE PRODUCTS OVER THE LAST THIRTY YEARS AND NONE HAVE FAILED ME...MAYBE A BUTT BROKE HERE AND A ROLLER CORRODED THERE....BUT I HAVE BEEN A VERY HAPPY AFTCO CAMPER UNTIL NOW

THE RELEASE CLIP IS THE THE CENTER PIECE ...THE HUB WE SHALL SAY....IN MAKING ALL COCKPIT ACTION COME TOGETHER....HECK..... I HAVE BEEN SITTING ON THE BOAT CRAPPER AND HEARD THE CLIP GO KAPOWW! AND OUT I COME LIKE A SCALDED CAT POUNCING ON THE VICTIMIZED REEL....TRAILING TP AND ALL ....BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THE TP....THE RESULTS WERE THE SAME: WAHOONDABOX BABY! .........

NOW TODAY I AM RE-DOING MY LESS THAN PERFECT OUTRIGGERS ON MY 1994 23' GRADY WHITE GULFSTREAM AND I CAN'T FIND THE OB-1 RELEASE CLIPS ANYWHERE!!!!

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THE 'BOX AND GO TO SOUTH JERSEY MARINA OR EITHER CAPTAIN JIM'S TACKLE IN CAPE MAY (ONE OF THESE TWO PLACES HAD A SET) AND PALEEEESE PICK ME UP ALL REMAINING INVENTORY OF THE OB-1 SERIES !!!


THAT NEW SLIDE DESIGN ON THE OB-2 SERIES HAS WHIPPED MY ASS....

THE CLIPS ARE AT LEAST 48 BUCKS A PAIR AND I'LL GLADLY PAY FOR THEM!!

Hey Marty, they switched them last year, and we had a run on the old style, I'll look around one of my suppliers might have some still in stock. I'm a convert to Black's, for flatlines I've been using the DeepBlue suction cup plate withe the Black's clip, so far it's worked really nice.
