AFTCO...WHY DID YOU PUNISH US?

ONCE AGAIN GOFSHN HAS ADDED SOME GREAT INPUT HERE ON THIS...THANKS !!!


AS YOU WILL NOTE ....I DID PRAISE AFTCO WITH THE VERSE OF ME SPENDING THOUSAND$ OVER THE YEARS WITH THEM AND I HAVE NOT SHYED AWAY....THIS ALONE $HOULD SAY THAT I BELIEVE IN THEM....

I'M SURE THERE ARE GREAT ROLLERS OUT THERE.....MAYBE THE RUPPS ARE GOOD....AND I LIKE THE BLACKS FOR CERTAIN APPLICATIONS

BUT LATELY...MANY MANUFACTURERS ARE CHANGING THINGS OUT AND QUITE FRANKLY...THE PRODUCTS ARE HEADING SOUTH....THEN ITS BACK TO TRIAL & ERROR FOR ME FINDING SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!

MY FAVORITE CRACKER SNACK IS A PRIME EXAMPLE HERE....CHEEZ-ITS....

I ATE MY FIRST ONE IN 1959............NOW WHAT HAVE THEY GONE AND DONE? THATS RIGHT!!! THEY HAVE MADE FIFTY NEW VARIETIES OF CHEEZ-ITS AND I HATE EM ALL.....THE ORIGINAL FLAVOR HAS BEEN LOST IN THEIR OVENS!!!

PLEASE QUIT MAKING WHITE CHEEZ-ITS....AND NACHO SCENTED -ITS AND JUMBO TRAIL MIX-ITS ....GOLD TRIGGERS RELEASES AND SUCH..AND ALL THAT HOGWASH YOU HAVE INFLICTED ON US AND GO BACK TO JUST THE ORIGINAL...HELL I EVEN HAVE TROUBLE FINDING THE ORIGINALS NOW!

Is the problem with these just when using them on riggers? I recently ordered a pair for running flatlines off the stern...yep, when they arrived, I too was puzzled about the sliding "adjustment". It doesn't seem I can get a consistant setting between the two...and to fine tune these things is impossible. I guess I'll know more in a month or so...but I to was a little let down regarding the quality of somthing that carries this cost.

Yes, I would trade them for the thumb turn in a second.

Same thing here- they would keep hanging up and not releasing at the same pressure. Greg Stotesbury from AFTCO sent me new OR1 clips out immediately after I sent him my old OR2 clips.

AFTCO gave me first class service!! I wish every company treated thier customers the same way that I was treated by AFTCO.

Aftcos suck compared to Rupps Nok-Outs. You cannot pull squid bars or large mack chains on Aftcos without POP POP POP. Not good. Best regards,

Washashore- The point of this thread is to show how AFTCO found out that they had a problem with thier product and what they did to make thier customers happy.
