Then may I suggest the ever popular Chikin-na- Biskit. Still have the original flavor from when I was a youngun in '73 . These things are addicitive!!

But I do love the hot flavored cheez its. Thanks JMS for turning me on to that one.

There are alot of products I use in the outdoors as well that have changed over the years for the worse IMO. Cabela's makes a certain fleece pullover face mask that USE to have a piece of fabric between the forehead and bridge of the nose, now the new and improved version just has the whole eye area open . DUH, a face mask is supposed to cover your face as much as possible. Not open the area up for it shine on wildlife. Yep, there are many more... too many to list here. And it is about time to buy another face mask....think I will go with the ECWS face mask this time. But it is still from Cabela's though

Then there is the New Mossy oak break up, WTF the old one was better IMO too. Then New shadow grass, come on Toxy what is this new stuff supposed to be. Bring back the old Break up and the shadow branch not to mention the old original bottomland camo!

The following quote is from New Secrets of Modern Trolling and Wahoo Troller's Bible. It is a caption under a photo that I am not bothering to post. What concerns me is that we started experiencing these failures, starting with a bent Rupp Rigger at least a year and a half ago and the product is still out there??? The original Roller Trollers, which I understand were actually designed by Moldcraft's Frank Johnson Sr., were excellent. They did wear out eventually, but they did so gradually and they probably lasted five or six hundred days of hardcore Cabo fishing before they had to be replaced.

Here's the quote from under the photo....

I have always liked and used AFTCO Roller Trollers on my outriggers. They recently introduced new models with a “slide” type tension adjustment that has locked up and failed on us too many times for me to have confidence in the new Roller Trollers. The wheel type that they used to offer is far better in my opinion. A scale can be used to set the release tension way up there. I set mine at twenty pounds for my eighty- pound outfits and then I mark that spot on the slide. You must have stiffened outriggers to handle this kind of release tension. If yours can’t take it, back off until they can. The lower the release tension, the lower your hookup ratio will be.

I tried the new Aftcos and ran 150 yards of line over the roller at tuna speed before we could get the clip to pop.

they will rectify any problems you have, just let them know. they have no way of knowing they have unhappy customers unless they hear it from them.

I am glad this topic came up, and glad aftco is such a stand-up type of company.
