    ???? about hoo rigging

seeing as how I cant scrape up the cash to go to martys rigging school right now ( I will be going in the future)
do you guys rig your hoos different with piano wire than you do with mono or flourocabon?
I have been rigging with springs, rubber bands, and with monel here latley and I like the monel the best
hell I have been swimming these hoos off the dock with a spinning rod to see how they swim when we cant get out side
my problem is I cant get the monel to stay wraped tight after 10-15 min trolling the monel arounf the nose has worked loose and they dont swim as good
when I first put them in the water they try to pass the boat after a while they look just like a bally being pulled not swimming
    they are not washing out
con some one post some pics of a properley rigged hoo with monel

    thanks capt dan

What size wire are you using?I like to use 15lb wire for rigging hoos. Now if your not making tight wraps when your rigging it will come lose.Hope this helps.

When wrapping the bill, take a turn or two to get to the tip of the bill and then make your tight wraps back towards the mouth. Wrapping backwards will keep the monel from uncoiling, or coming loose while trolling.
