    AB King Mac Tourney moved to Oct!

    I was psyched to hear that the Atlantic Beach King Mackerel Tourney (formally Hardees) was moved to October this coming year.

    Less congested with other tournaments and bigger fish!!!

    If I remember correctly, it used to be in September. When I fished it a hurricane was coming up the coast and it was snotty fishing in 8 footers. It seems the weather always sucks for this tournament, maybe October will be better. If you need a extra hand let me know I would love to fish it again, my boats a little to slow to fish with the guys in those tournaments.

    I think the weather is one of the biggest reasons October is a better choice. It just seems to do a little better that month.

    I will definitely have a spot for a couple guys. Probably two, so if the two of you want in for sure, let me know.

    Just a disclaimer .... Im not in it to run and gun and race the quad outboard fountains. I enjoy the tournament and think there is always a chance to bring home the money fish but I'm out there to fish and enjoy myself. I am not interested in fishing with anyone who is going to be stressed out or wearing matching bass fishermen shirts

    The Got em on KMT in Carolina Beach. Its been around for 25 years or so and is always a blast. It is in July, I will look and get the dates for you.
