THE BEAST IS TRAPPED ON THE RUN-OFF...WELL MAYBE NOT TRAPPED BUT HE REPORTS AS WELL EVERY SIREN WITHIN 100 MILES IS WAILING

Just heard Morehead City on the CBS national radio news. The port closure made the 1000 news update as breaking news. I hope everything turns out to be ok down there and can't wait to see the Box/Bucks footage........

Morehead City, N.C. — Authorities closed the port at Morehead City on Tuesday morning after nine containers filled with "highly explosive materials" were punctured.

U.S. Highway 70 between Radio Island and 5th Street in Morehead City was closed to traffic and pedestrians, officials said.

The Morehead City police and fire departments and the Cherry Point emergency operations division were responding to the situation.

Officials recommended that people evacuate downtown Morehead City, and they urged anyone who chose to stay in the area to remain away from windows and doors.

we are at the Yacht Basin, not sure what we are supposed to do- can't leave by foot or car, afraid we can't go anywhere by boat either.

By all reports 9 containers of something highly explosive are punctured.

apparently the containers are holding PETN- something used in detonators and fuses or something. It is not as sensitive as nitroglycerine. THe containers were punctured during offloading.
