8-03-08 FISHING WITH BEAGLEMAN

Team BeagleMan fished out of Low Falls Landing today. We got a late start out of the landing, leaving at about 8:30 or so. Fishing for team beagleman is myself, Beagleman, and JoJo. We carried 4 cups of RED WORMS , 2 cups of BLUE BAIT, 100 CRICKETS, and 1 large tub of what I am going to call MEAL WORMS for the sake of this post. I am not really sure what they were, they looked a lot like meal worms to me. I found them in a barrel of SWEET FEED. Well, BeagleMan deffinatly came in first place, JoJo was second, and I was last. It just was not my day today. BeagleMan caught the BIG FISH and the most fish. I have included photos of JoJo and his catch and JoJo resting after th e catch. It seemed the fish liked the BLUE BAIT the best today. The weather was very HOT and the WATER very LOW. We tried to fish in the shade as best we could.

Totals for the day are:

61 BREAM and SHELLCRACKERS
3 CAT FISH
1 little TURTLE (friend for my turtle at home)

Thanks. Usually I get a little more excitement to talk about. Today was kinda dull. We did get to see DOZENS of DEER in the DEER PEN on the way to the landing. There were several very large BUCKS. One even laying down and you could see the BIG RACK while riding down the road. Not that I agree with the DEER PEN thing, but I like to look at them along the fence.

We saw lots of GATORS. They would go from riverbank to river bank all day long. One even had just went under the water when a BIG BOAT with a full house and some kid on SKIS. Welll, the KID took the plunge almost right where the GATOR was last seen. I guess it is a good thing that the GATOR is kinda scared of HUMANS, atleast while I was watching. I don't think my son would be encouraged to ski around them GATORS. The next child up was half the age of the first. Too young to hold the rope. He got all upset. Family had to get the LARGE boat to the CHILD quickly. He got frightened. This was about the time we decided to head for the hill. Traffic on the river was picking up alot. Fishing had slowed down..
