    That's getting it done under the wire. Did the general category close January 31st? The NMFS website is showing general season is closed until June 1.

    How was the season in NC? I was actually just about to post that question when I saw this thread. I heard it was hot early then didn't hear boo until this thread.

    Sounds like it is heating up like it did last year this time of year for the recreational anglers through March/April.
