7/13 BFT REPORT

Headed out Monday with Jim of the Nautical Wheeler 38 Henriques, my brother and Andy. Wanted to do some BFT fishing so we headed south past 20 fathoms. Marked lots of bait early and was able to pick up a 40lber. As time went on the nice marks on the bottom were gone.

We headed south later in the day with no marks and dirty water, then all of a sudden long rigger goes screaming! After a 45min fight we landed a 64.5 incher weighed in at 144lbs. We decieded to call it a day after another half hour of trolling. Pretty good day

Congtats on the catch.

Heading that way early Friday as of this moment from Barnegat Inlet. I assume you were too far south for us to run? I will write report afterwards.
