    Wink 50lber blows up 8lb stella and still makes it on the pathfinder...

    Today was another good morning with lots of bites from small tarpon and large snook. I finally hooked a good fish on 8lb at 9am this morning. At ten minutes into it I notice Scott is having trouble reeling, and then it locked up...I would normally cut the line and blood knot it to another rod, but this fish is still green. I got one of the guys to hold the line with a couple of feet of slack in it and albrighted it to another 8lb setup so I would not have to cut the line until the knot was already tied. It worked great and ended up being a 60 dollar knot as the same group tipped 100 yesterday morning and 160 today and caught more fish yesterday I love it when a plan comes together!

    is like buying a whore, they may work really good for a short while. The thing is they don't work in the long run, they twist the shit out of everything and take every opportunity to twist a knot on the end of your rod so you lose the catch of the day

    Great pics as always. Would love to make it down your way some time and fish with you! I caught a 100# tarpon while I was deployed to gtmo cuba but that was the extent of my tarpon fishin HA HA HA
