    5/24 Seeing Specs

Biscoto is back and has brought good karma with him as he always does. Wind was honking a little too much today to try anything outside of the inlet so we decided to give the inshore critters a try. Caught bait pretty easily. Little potato chip pogies were flipping continuously. Acres and acres of them. The pelicans were having a field day. Decided to give an area that Biscoto and I fished together about 7 years ago. One of the first places we fished together. It has produced some nice flounders for us and some trout and drum also. Caught the trout pretty consistently for about two hours. Kept enough for a couple of meals and released a few. Forgot the landing net so we had to hoist them over the side some made it some didn't. Good to have you back brother Biscoto. Great way to spend an afternoon. No complaints. Life is good. Slip.

Didn't have my plugs with me Matt. The trouts seemed to be laying under the bait. Received a solid report that there was a top water bight there this morning.

Brother Slip, thanks for taking me out on the water today. Lord knows I needed that!
Let's do it again soon. Only next time let's bring some fried chicken along!

No topwater but a couple of artificials Matt. Jig tipped with Berkley Gulp Grub and suspending mirrorlure but no takers. They wanted live baits today.
