4/20/08 Hopedale lagoon trip
Winds light and slight. Went to the rocks and picked up two reds. Water was really muddy from the Bonne Carre Spilway opening. Alot of freshwater was dumped. So we jumped back towards the Delacroix side and we found a pleathera of fish waiting to inhale our baits. OMG for about 3 hours straight hours just nothing but solid hook-ups. From reds, to drum, to specks it was insane. 75 fish caught, kept 15 reds,15 drum and 20 specks. If I could only lift my arms to clean them tonight but it's not going to happen. I'll wait for tommorrow. Here are a few picks from when we had to make room in the ice chest. I'll try to get some pics tommorrow of the whole lot. Catch-em up.
