200lb skate jumps into boat Ocean Isle

I don't know the entire story but supposedly this 200lb monster jumped through the windshield of a boat in Shallote inlet near Ocean Isle Beach, NC

wahoo and franky are correct. that aint a skate or a manta ray, but a large spotted eagle ray. they jump all the damn time in the keys, just bad timing on the boat's part

I have a bunch of them in front of castle Deep Keys and they can and do scare the hell out of you when they do jump. From my balcony you can probabl see three to ten a day doing that... In the spring even more.
